[SOLVED]JEM events in Acymail newsletter not possible anymore

Till now I could insert JEM events in a Acymail newsletter by clicking tags.
But suddenly it's not possible anymore: if I try tot click a tag, it's not highlighted anymore, so the litte screen in which the tag should come, isn't been filled.
I already asked support at the Acyba-team. They answered: "I am afraid that you will have to contact JEM developers and report an issue. That is a 3rd party plugin and we can't provide support for it or debug the issue that it can cause."
So that's why I ask help here in this forum.
I've already updates Acymailing and the JEM plugin, but that doesn't solve the problem.

Hi Harry, thank you for post. With the next JEM version 2.2.2 the updated tagjem plugin for acymail will come. I hope this will be quite soon.

sorry, but I would be surprised if the new plugin version would fix a problem I don't know so far.
I only made some little changes like replacing calls to deprecated JRequest and so.

Could you please provide information about versions of Joomla, AcyMailing, JEM, and the tagjem plugin? Also PHP version could be useful.
Also it would be helpful to know the difference between "till now" and "now" - meaning: what have you changed?

Here it comes.
Joomla version: 3.7.5
PHP version: 7.1.7
Acymailing: Acymailing Enterprise 5.8.0
JEM version: 2.2.1
tagjem plugin: plg_tagjem_v2.1.3
The only changes between "till now" and "now" are, as far as I know, updates of Joomla, Acymailing, JEM and the tagjem plugin.

Ok, you changed all.

While playing around I found one of my sites with a white, empty Tag popup, as you described. To ensure it has something to do with tagjem I disabled the plugin and after page reload the popup was filled with the other plugins. Then I reenabled tagjem and prepared for debugging - but I never got a white popup again!

It seems somewhat had modified plugins registry entry which caused a problem. But without getting back this I can't really search for it.

But maybe you can replay my steps to become happy...
Than I would be happy a bit too.
