Jem Wide show different selected category for different menus

Joomla 3.5 with JEM 2.1.5
Newbie here: I would like to use Jem Wide (and other Jem modules) to list events from a single variable category only. There will be a number of different menu links to Jem Wide modules each to show a different single category of events. Can someone give me a clue to the best approach please?

In the JEM wide module you can choose only one category. So look for the ID of the category and insert it in the module settings.

Hi Thanks for speedy reply. Yes I noted that the module only allowed a fixed selection of categories to be chosen, but I was hoping that I could have a joomla menu with a number of options each of which would call the Wide Module to show events from a preset calegory unique to each menu option.

I did wonder if using something like {loadmodule mod_jem_wide,JEM - Module-Wide,category=<category name>} within an article would somehow allow me to filter events by <category name>
