Transifex

Does somebody in the community have any experience with Transifex ? It would be nice to host the translation files there, so they are easily accessible for quick updates.

Don't have any experience with it, but have read only recommendations. Some major components use it, AFAIK.

When do we want to start using Transifex? Seems not so complex to set it up.

I did set up a JEM project 2 days ago. Still experimenting, but it's not very difficult.

It's even possible to link Github to Transifex, so new language strings are automatically updated in the core language file
But that's a nice-to have feature for later.

I'll let you guys know when I'm ready. Hopefully later this week, having some day's off here in the Netherlands.

That sounds interesting, indeed!

Hope we get some people concentrating on translation. The language files really need some TLC!

Just wanted to note that I corrected and rearranged the headers of the language files. Don't know if you need to know this for transifex.
