Problem with french translation

There is clearly something wrong with the file.

I just checked the contents of your file and it's corrupted. Is this the file you directly unzipped after download, or the one you amended with extra translations? I think the files has been edited and then saved in another character set than UTF8-no BOM.
Could you check that?

Best thing to do if you want to add translations is to do it on Transifex. Then all users will benefit from your work.
I can create an intermediate package for you any time you want.

Yes the file is directly the one I unzipped after download. The character by default is just UTF8 and I haven't change it.

I try to go to transifex with the link in the download page but I have an error 404.

I found my mistake.

I uncommented this line:

; ; COM_JEM_MYEVENT_ATTENDEES_HINT="Read as: \\"_QQ_"(attending)/(max. places) + (on waiting list) - (not attending), (invited)?\\"_QQ_" where empty parts may be omitted. Click to manage attendees."

Yes, the "QQ" is a relict from JEM 2.3.6. it is supposed to be
Code:
COM_JEM_MYEVENT_ATTENDEES_HINT="Read as: \"(attending)/(max. places) + (on waiting list) - (not attending), (invited)?\" where empty parts may be omitted. Click to manage attendees."

and the missing "=" in line 409
Code:
COM_JEM_ADD_ZIP="Add Zip"

and I found a typo (missing t in souhaite) in line 98,
Code:
COM_JEM_I_WILL_GO_2="Je souhaie réserver "

Yep that was that.

For the missing T that's not a real problem, it's just in the translation, but thanks for the tips ;)
