JEM + EVENTLIST installed within same database
If you're having the eventlist tables within the same database then you can try out the import view.
[x] Visit JEM Control Panel
[x] Click at “Import Data”
[x] Go to tab "Eventlist import"
As we don't have an eventlist version for Joomla 3 it's likely that you don't have it installed. doing so the prefix of the eventlist tables will be different and the message "an installation of eventlist has not been detected" will appear.
[x] Fill in the prefix of the eventlist tables
[x] Click at the "check" button
If a version has been detected the versionnr will be shown
[x] Click at the "proceed" button
In the next screen you can select if you want to copy images/attachments
[x] select if you want to copy images/attachments
[x] Click at “import”
and yes there’s an untranslated language string
When finished there is “import finished” notice and you’ll see that it did find existing JEM data
[x]
check your data: images, attachments, events etc..
JEM + EVENTLIST not within same database
Lets say you installed Joomla 1.5.x + eventlist within database 1 but Joomla 3 + JEM3 within database 2. In that case you can try to work with phpmyadmin and export the tables in database1 and import it temporarely within database2. After that you can try the steps mentioned above
other options
you can try the csv import, modify tables etc but won't go into detail there for now
