I see my english has led to some miscommunication, i have already downloaded, installed and changed the JEM 3.0.2 Version. Also i migrated my data from eventlist 1.0.1 (Venues, Categories, Events (without recc.) and Cats-Event Relations)
But if you need some tester i'd like to help you testing

Sorry you seem to be much more than a tester, so you are much more welcome.

hi Zar,.
but it would be great if you could contribute/help out with coding
. definately like to take a look at the changes you already made.
no problem at all not sure what other language you are familiar with but German or Dutch is fine too.[/quote]first sorry for my poor English i haven't used this skill a lot since school.
we're indeed a bit hidden but hopefully that will change someday.I'm glad i found your project i used Eventlist 1.0.1 with Joomla 1.5 and was recently forced to upgrade to J3.3.
lacking time is something we've in commonI can contribute in coding. In lack of time right now i would offer the Changes i have done or i need to do, if you are interested. My experience with PHP/CSS/HTML is a bit rusty also i on Joomla 3.3 i have to check the changes. In my job most time i work with ETL and Databases.
In my Project i needed additional fields which i also had in the old Eventlist. The ticket prices for the event (Presale and normal price if both empty TBA) or free Entry, displayed in the eventlist and detailspage.
I have also written some SQL Statements for the Upgrade (Venues, Categories, Events (without recc.) and Cats-Event Relations) .
For my project i also have to write an additional element. I need sponsors at my events, much like categories. The user should be able to add from none to many sponsors to an event, and in the details page the should be shown with ther image or/and their weblink.

Hello all together,
I used to work with eventList a while ago, and was happy to find your project at the JED.
I work as a freelancer with Joomla, have some knowledge in programming PHP and JavaScript, know how to use SQL, HTML5 and CSS3 and got very used to Joomla template overriding in the last years of project work. I work from Hildesheim, Germany.
I volunteer for developing since I like to code and I would be happy to join a team.
I would like to help maintain the code and the base of the JEM project. I am a big fan of Unittests, so if there is nothing else to do I would try to find a start for unit testing the component.
Since the last eventList-Webpage I did is quite a while ago I probably need some data to make my experiments with. Is there a set of events somewhere I can import for testing?
Where would you recommend me to start with, or is there a project that could need some help?
Regards,
Lars

Hi Lars,
many thanks for your offer to increase the power of our very small team. I'm a developer and not really a fan of (writing) unit test - so you can completely fill this job if you like.
Of course, it's great to have a simple button to ask "Is the code correct?" so you're very welcome to add some automated tests.
The JEM package contains some sample data which can be installed (somewhere on Housekeeping I think).
Alternatively I wrote a Demo plugin which (daily!) installs a bit more stuff. This can be found here on GitHub On GitHub is also a list of issues pending or we're working on.
To successful cooperation
