change template after opening an event

I use the Jem calendar module on my website with template "A" (with a slideshow in the banner), is it possible to open an event from the calendar with template "B" (without slideshow in the banner)?

hi, first we have to clear some expressions: do you mean the calendar menu which is mostly in the content of a page, or do you mean the calendar module which can be posted on different places of your page?
I think, you mean the first and more not the calendar menu but the simplelist!
when you want the banner on the page with the simplelist, but not on the page with the event detail view, you have to choose that the banner is not "on all pages", you have o select the chosen pages on by one. evev if you choose them all! And you will see, there?. a difference!

I mean the calendar module which can be posted on different places.
It is placed on the left site of the index-page. So i can't choose when i open the event detail view.

then it is easier. you choose to connect the banner only with the index page

this are not two different templates: it is the same template but on one page is the banner module visible,. on the other page the banner module is hidden!
