change URL for Content JEM listevents plugin

I need to change the 'path' for links to events when they are displayed with the plugin. The plugin path is
domainname/component/jem/event/EVENTFILENAME.html

I want it to match the component list that I have setup in Joomla's menu system. Which creates a path:
domainname/NAMEGIVENINMENU/event/EVENTFILENAME.html

What JEM file do I need to do an override to change the plugin path
component/jem
to
NAMEGIVENINMENU

Why do I want to do this? Two reasons.
1) I want each event detail listing page to only have on URL, not two. Google and other search engines frown on duplicating the same content on multiple pages.

2) I want the users to see the same layout - sidebar menu, breadcrumb trail, etc - for both

JEM listevent plugin is made for JEM!
If you want only with joomla content, then you should disable robots for your joomla page. Like that you are not dobbeling content for google and co.
