Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but when I upload an image for a venue, I click the upload button and it goes into the correct folder in images, but it closes and locks the venue I'm working on and opens up a new blank one. Then I have to cancel and then go back to the one I was working on and then just navigate to the image then save. This is happening with Joomla 3.9.14 and JEM 2.2.3 in Firefox. Not sure what has changed but it seems to have been doing this for a little while.
Hi, I can't reproduce your problem: it seems to me, you didn't understand the way of adding images.
You have to choose or upload an image, and after that, you have to save the whole location. If you don't save the whole location record, it will not be fixed.
Been using this for years so I know how it works. I click on the Upload link, use the browse button to navigate to the file I'm uploading, add the file. As soon as I click the Upload button it will upload it but it closes the venue and opens a new blank one.
is this in the backend and/or in the frontend.
First you were talking about JEM 2.2.3, now you are talking about JEM 2.3?
Since you use this for years, so I have to ask you: what additional special plugins, templates etc. do you use meanwhile? Can you try it on a clean joomla?
I can't reproduce using on my lifesites JEM 2.3.0 prerelease.
It is still Jem 2.2.3 - I did not change versions and didn't even mention 2.3. We use rockettheme templates. I will see if perhaps an extension on my firefox is interfering or if it does it in chrome as well. It just started happening in the last couple weeks - before that it was fine.
I have the same problem when uploading an image for an event.
The message says the image is downloaded and then close the event page automatically and blank page.
