No more recurrence?

Hi,
I am just creating a new joomla website using JEM v2.2.0. When creating an event with recurrence I am used to find the new events automatically created when saving the first event. Since 2.2.0 it shows only the first event after saving. When will those following events be created? At midnight, as in ancient Eventlist times?

[SOLVED] Found out why: It seems that the update to v2.2.0 has been altered in a way that the field with the end date of recurrence is now pre-filled with today's date. Whoever is responsible for this change is kindly asked to re-think: Why should I wish to use a recurrence which stops today?
In previous versions the field was left empty and when saving, it filled automatically with "0000-00-00". If for any reason it has to be pre-filled now, then it should rather show those zeros instead of today's date. Thanks!
