[SOLVED] language problem

In the admin and the appointment in the frontend, some content, headings and field names are displayed in German and English. see pictures.





Joomla in version 3.9.10 and PHP 7.1.30 is installed. Stand language is specified in German.
JEM version 2.2.3

Does anyone have any idea what I have to change, so that everything is displayed in German.

Did you do a clean install or is it an update?


Check if the language strings doe exists in the language file with the com_jem/language directory at your server. If it does exist then make sure that there is no language file in the general language file directory of Joomla. maybe it's looking at that file and doing so it won't take a look at the language directory that's located within the com_jem directory.

Maybe it helps by setting the debug language files to on (settings of Joomla).

Hello I uninstalled the old version of JEM and installed the latest version. However, the problem with the language was already present in the old version. The language file DE is available in the JEM language folder. What is the path for the general language file directory of Joomla? Which language file do I have to delete this?

Hello, I deleted the file de-DE.com_jem.ini in the directory language / DE-DE /. Now everything is displayed in German in the frontend. For the backend I have the file de-DE.com_jem.ini in the folder
/ administrator / language / DE-DE / deleted. Now everything is displayed in German in the backend.
