[Answered] Disable Tool Tips?
Disable Tool Tips?
5 years 8 months ago
Was wondering why all my titles and several buttons were disapearing from my website, when I hover over them. Turns out, it was the tool tips.
After working out an override, so the Template CSS would not devour the tool tips, for JEM, I realized "I DO NOT LIKE THESE TOOL TIPS". Kinda bizarre it took me until I completed a fix for several locations (force the tool tips on), to realize I don't like them.
Anyway ... Where is the option to disable the tool tips?
It's gonna erase the work I put into patching them back in, but I'd rather completely erase them, to prevent the possibility of it breaking again. Specifically the ".hasToolTip" or ".hasPopOver", or any variation.

There is no option to disable the tool tips.
The offial joomla templates and other templates programmed well have no problems with the tooltips.
So please use these templates, or search for well programmed joomla templates.
(Or you can uninstall JEM).
In addition I have to say, without any information about your system like Template, JEM version etc. it's not very motivation to help. Thanks for your understanding.

I apologies for coming off aggressive.
I just finished dealing with fixing the bad template code, and was still frustrated with them, not you. This did not give me the right to unload my frustrations here. I like the calendar a lot. That include the most features and usability.
Thank you for your direct reply.
I was just hoping for a clean option to disable the popovers, without having to go through the code. Try and have yourself a great week.
