The URL generated for my JEM events seems to have changed recently. It is now in the format:
www.website.com/component/jem/event/123-event-name
How can I remove /component/jem/event from the path please?
I am on JEM 2.2.2 with Joomla 3.8.4.

It looks like this problem of the URL being changed was introduced in Joomla 3.8.4. I have just upgraded to 3.8.5 and the problem has gone away - i.e. the URL path for events is back to the more friendly format of:

www.website.com/whats-on-events/event/123-event-name
