Ability to show first event only in mod_banner

Hi,

I have made a set of recurring events, and also some single events that are a way off in the future, however, I would like to show all single occurrences and the repeat events in chronological order just the once.
For example

Recurring Event 1
Recurring Event 2
Single Event


Not
Recurring Event 1
Recurring Event 2
Recurring Event 1
Recurring Event 2
Recurring Event 1
Recurring Event 2
Recurring Event 1
Recurring Event 2
Recurring Event 1
Recurring Event 2
Single Event

Is there any setting in the banner module that will allow this, or is there any chance this will be implemented in the future?

mod_jem_banner as a variant of mod_jem_teaser is depending from the event dates. Perhaps you can experiment with 3 Modules with showing only one event: the first module for Recurring event 1 in category 1
the second module for Recurring event 2 in category 2 and the third module for Single event in category 3.
There exist no plans to implement such behaviour. Sorry.
