Hi,
I am also using simple Event list started from a menu entry to enable ics export for external devices. But I think this module could be improved with following features:
1. Focus on events starting from today when module is loaded the first time. Right now the list starts with the first entry - even if was in the past.
2. Search field for date (start - end)
On Long lists there is also an issue with the responsive design on mobile devices on non-landscape views.
