"upcoming event" entry with long title exceeds end of module
7 years 8 months ago
Hi developper,
great software your JEM.
But it seems if the text is to long for the event it won't fit in the frame "upcoming event".
see attached picture.
I have no influence about the entries from the permitted users.
Maybe HTML/ CSS hyphens can be a solution.
What can be done?

It looks like the basic module of jem.
Go to Joomla Backend -> Extensions -> Modules, select your "nächste Veranstaltungen" module and there you can find a "Max. Title length" input box.
If you set this value to a smaller value, the titles will be cutted:
Kommandantenversammlung -> Kommandantenver...

Thanks Egnarts,
you' re right, but I think also hyphenation can be a solution. German language uses often long expressions. blablabla... never looks good because often the real meaning of a word is expressed in the last part of a word. So does anyone knows how to use html hyphens in this context?
