JEM 2.2.1

I see that this new version is available for download. Thanks to all those who have contributed. We users appreciate the effort put in to this greatly. I notice automatic update notifications have been implemented which is excellent. I have had problems with Joomla 3.7.0 (not JEM but other issues) so have not gone live with this upgrade. I see Joomla 3.7.1 is scheduled for today so I can't wait to see if this fixes my other issues. I will then install JEM 2.2.1

For some special things like the list of non-attending/waiting/invited users in eventview, I will put some snippets here in the forum.

Hmmm, someone mentioned JEM 2.2.1 here in a post in this forum already before, so I checked the download page and found the new version.
But:

• On the home page it is not listed in "News".
• Here in the forum on the right the menu "Downloads" still marks version 2.2.0 as "current".

I checked the changelog and see some great improvements.
Specially I like "Update System implement the updater to automatically discover and install new versions",
because from now on I am not dependent on the (late) update of this webpage, see above.

Good to see there are users that follow everything that is posted on here...

We did indeed release a new version, 2.2.1, but before we make the official announcement and put it on the JED, there is one extra round of checks.
So we did not 'forget' to update the news section, the JED and our Facebook and Twitter notes.. just a matter of procedures..

We're also happy the Update System is now in place. Hopefully it will encourage all users to keep JEM up-to-date. Glad you like it!
