New venue publishing acting strange
New venue publishing acting strange
7 years 7 months ago
I've set my site/JEM settings so that users can add new venues through the frontend, but the admin has to approve the venue first. Users can edit only their own venue. (see attachment)
Strangely enough, I don't receive any notifications when a new venue is created through the frontend. Venues are published immediately, without me knowing. On the other hand, if I create a new venue myself via the admin, I do get an (unnecessary) mail notification.
In previous version of JEM this worked as expected, but now the settings seem to be just the opposite.
What's wrong?

Hi stevent, which version are you using?
What are your settings? user rights on the right side for venues.
At the moment I am working a lot with venues, so I am sure I can't reproduce your issue.
autopublish you should enable for all registered,
Look your settings in jem mailer too!

My settings are as in the screenshot:
- all registered users can create
- auto publish -> only admin
- edit all -> only admin
- edit own -> yes
JEM Mail plugin settings:
- email on create only to admin
- email on update only to admin
I noticed that there was no separate admin-email entered in the plugin settings.
JEM version 2.2.0
Still, why is autopublishing still active? And why does the admin get a mail from the backend of the site?
