[HOW TO] How Do Attendees Register To An Event?

Good morning,

I downloaded JEM and have set it up with an event to get test out the system and get a hang of it. All has gone well, except that I don't know how to set it up so that users can register for an event. Under Registration, it says "You have to login to register for this Event.".

Do I have to enable people to register as a user on my website's joomla backend or is it a registration component within JEM? Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I've attached a screenshot of the event page, in case if that helps.

Hi, yes any person who wants to register inside of JEM need an joomla account first, then they have to login and can then register for an event. Without an joomla account, they can contact you by the given contact. But they will not be visible as attendees.
EDIT:
If they contact you with contact form or other medias, and they don't want to register in joomla: you can make a fake email address e.g. @invalid.com, then you can put them on the list too, but they will never get an information when something changes!
