The Responsive JEM and Google Maps API Key (don't work?)

Hi,

I've tried to activate Google Maps in JEM (The Responsive JEM) but don't work...
-I've paste Google key in global settings, then selected Display Google Maps (API Key) in the selectors (event + global settings)
-in the venue parameters, activated map service
-data's venue correctly done (with latitude and longitude)

=> no result...

- add "search by location data" => no result

And, if I click on "copy all the data", that deletes data's venue in the left column...

An idea to solve that?

do you maybe have some screenshots?

If you are using Mozilla Firefox to browse:
can you check if there is an error in the webconsole? (ctrl + Shift + K )

I have had issues with Google maps just recently. In my case it was related to API configuration on my Google account: I had to allow several API to be used (maps, places) and also attach payment method to Google account. Even though free tier limit is sufficient for the average website traffic. Check the javascript errors in your browser - it may shed some light why Google Maps API is not working.

- screenshot show... nothing, no map, no place holder... as you can see in attached file
- I've checked Mozilla console but I've not seen errors about google map (but I'm not a specialist...). You can see in the second attached file.

Yes, I'd seen new google rules for Map API, and I've done all things required by Google Cloud Platform.
-Selected API : Geolocation API, Maps Embed API, Maps JavaScript API, Maps Static API
-payment method well attached.
-API's code paste in JEM manager

I don't see where is the error...

I am lucky, that my API key is working wirh JEM since I have it. But I started long time ago and I will not try something. Don't' change change a winning horse, you know. But as alternative you can add a map inside the event description with phoca maps plugin. You can use even Openstreetmap.

For JEM maps top work with Google you need 3 API enabled on your google console project key:
Geocoding API
Maps JavaScript API
Places API

I had a quick look at one of your venues commingesdirect.fr/component/jem/venue/1-douala
I can see div class="map_canvas", but it is missing outer div class="jem-map"

There is something in your case that prevents google java script from creating the remaining divs in that section.

In JEM Settings / Basic / Style / Layout Style - what value do you have - Modern Responsive Style?
