11 years 4 months ago - 11 years 4 months agoWish i knew , the thing is that there are still things to be sorted out before we can release such a version. Big fixing, documentation, migration script, adding features, etc. When is the final Version (2.0 ?) planned?
So realisticly it will take months to accomplish that, by a small dev-team, but hopefully it will be there around christmas time.
Thx for the feedback, amd if there is anything that can be improved: let it know. The current version run´s very well on my test system.
questions are welcome, At the moment there is no migration-script. But it can be done manually, so if you know something about phpmyadmin & FTP that wil be the way.Sorry for the question: How can i import all events from version 1.0 to the current version ?
basically the things that will be done are:
- export tables EL version (csv format)
- copy files EL
At this point you will have some kind of backup.
As the tables of JEM are a bit altered you'll run into a problem when trying to insert the data. Maybe it can be done by:
- opening the csv of the venues table
- alter column "plz" to Postalcode
- import the csv-files by using the import-view
have to take a look at it to be certain, and it can be that importing by phpmyadmin is better. Think it's somethign for tomorrow
//
Yep, i know a migration-script would be nicer but that's for later.

Re: Final Version ?
11 years 2 months agoWe are planning to support J3.x of course. But as of now, we still have more than enough work with fixing bugs and making it work flawlessly in J2.5.MurphyLaw wrote: Well, whats with Joomla 3.x Support?
The point is that our capacity is limited. New developers are always welcome.

only to say: there is a trial for J3 on github, which works quite well for trying and giving feedbacks. (we will collect them)
But for the final steps we concentrate our work for J2.5 now.
(like your username says)
