Can't give you an answer there as i don't use them. But there was a an Joomfish extension for Eventlist so it can be changed fairly easy for JEM. But for Falang you probably need to create an extension from start.

Think i'll take a look at it, just to see what the components are doing.

did take a look at Joomfish and can tell that it will give a problem for the moment with JEM. Or i'm doing something wrong :), it's telling me that method categories is undefined. But it detects the browserlanguage and think it's a nice component to use.

Installing Joomfish was a bit difficult as it was saying that it was missing a table. Well did import that missing table manually so it did work at the end. Also the tutorial of 5 minutes is just a few seconds.

Oh and they have the download link for the J2.5+ version a bit "hidden". It can be downloaded in the overview with the versions but did expect it under the menu-button download->core, that version is for J1.5+

hmm, will try that other component too.

did try falang too, but if i've had to choose it would be joomfish.

falang is based upon joomfish and they have this line in their description 'Falang doesn't use the default language system of Joomla 1.7+.'

I use falang and eventlist throughout my website. Here's an example - www.kidscampamerica.com/en/summer-camp/frankfurt/
Falang is way better than the new joomfish which creates duplicate menus, articles, catagories etc in the backend! You will need to find the eventlist content elements for joomfish and FTP them to the Falang content elements folder. Works like a charm.
