Changing Options for Choosing Dates

Hi Everyone. Are there any options for giving users choices when choosing a month or date to view?

Right now, if someone wants to move forward a couple of months in the Calendar view, they have to click the double arrows ( >> ). I'd like to know if there are any other options for navigating the calendar that can be provided to the user.

As an example, could a window pop up that lets the user choose the month they want to jump to? See my attachment.
