Google Calendar Sync

Hey there,
is there a possibility to synchronize (multiple) Google Calendars with JEM?

what do i mean: I have e.g. 2 Google Calendars for two groups, the names of the calendars are group1 and group2. Now I want to Add new Events in Google Calendar and they should be synchronized with the according categories in Jem, called group1 and group2. Eventually new venues are created when they not exist in Jem but in GCalendar and existing are linked.

Is this vision possible?

Did you get a response to this? I'm assuming that the lack of response on the forum means that it doesn't fully integrate with google calendars ?

Sorry we are a bit late in responding. Integrating an external calendar with Google Calendar is a very complex matter. You refer to Google Calendar Sync, which is a Google app to sync between Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar. Lately that only works with the paid version of Google apps, the free version is not supported anymore.

Your question is about syncing between JEM and a Google Calendar, or actually, multiple calendars. Alas it's far beond the scope of this project to build such a specific and complex interface.

You might find specialized and configurable syncing software, but you'd have to write directly into the database, for which I foresee serious problems.

Long answer, to tell you no, I'm afraid.

Okay cheers for the swift answer. I only need 2 way integration between jem and Google on one calender. i have seen components that do it but slightly out of my budget at the moment.
