[FR-added] Add field for phone #

I know there's custom fields, but can a field be added globally so that it shows on the main tab up every time a new event is added rather than having to change to the "Other" tab? Failing that, can you tell me where to edit the label "Custom Field 1"? Thanks.

you can also edit the event view tmpl files. doing it like that you can edit the file and show the options for a contact you like: for example the phone.

about the label for custom field:
you can change the language strings within the language folder located within the JEM component.
(language string is not located within the default location if joomla)

DOH! Didn't even notice the language folder!! Thanks; edited the language file for now. But a field for venue phone number seems a good idea.

an additional field for phone (venue) will be added and maybe some more fields.

No rush Blue, I know you're busy with v3 and I don't want to hold that up. I told my client to use the Custom field (and I renamed it) and he's happy with that. So I'd just leave doing that extra work on the older version for now.

did add the option to JEM3 (locally) so it's probably going to be added into the new release of that version.
- did add 3 fields: fax, phone, email.
- did add a slider for contact-details in the backend (venue-view)
- the venue/event-view will output the info it's filled

about the note of other-tab:
the name "other" is just a placeholder as it can/should be renamed to something better.
the reason for some additional tabs is that otherwise you will get a huge view but maybe it should be done as it makes it easier for people to define things.
