@over40 hope you don't mind but noticed at the site that there was somekind of module in use to display the events. The module is using tabs and it looks nice.
so was thinking maybe it's an idea to create something like that with additional options in backend and then offer/make it downloadable for other users so they can make use of it too.
it will be something like:
- define options in xml so user can set if they want to hide/show a tab
- retrieving data by query
as eventlist model is leading we will get data from that one, it should take into account the option tha the user did select so if we only need data for 1 week we don't need to retrieve all data.
- define tabset (bootstrap with J3 or JHTML with J2)
- add: title, calendar img for date display, link to category, description but limited to characters set in option.
ah well, something to think of in the future.
