Feature requests for JEM 2.0 - initial public release
User Registration
Re: User Registration
10 years 10 months ago - 10 years 10 months agoThis has nothings to do with CB - it's a feature of EL as well as JEM.ernst67 wrote: In my EL 1.0.1 setup, the event also shows (at the bottom) which users have registered to the event.
Has that code been lost with EL 1.1?
But there is no way to see which users have actively not registered ("have read it but I can't come").

Damn! I didn't read well enough. Now I understand. :huh:
The only thing needed is a third 'status' if I understand correctly:
1. Will you be attending?
2. I will be attending
3. I will not be attending

Yep, you got it. :woohoo:
btw: There is no user management to limit attendances. If a user can see the event he can also attend. The only way would be usage of Joomla groups / access level to limit visibility of events (via categories).
JEM groups are intended for additional rights to create/edit events/venues.

@jojo12
yes, your example with the scholars are good. Similar Outlook Calendar Events or other Calendars with events where a user accepted or deny a event.
@ernst67
yes that is what i mean.
I think the easiest way are a additional field in database for the attend status and second checkbox "I will not a attend".
i.e.
database value = 1 user will attend
value = 2 user will not attend.
On the Tableview:
Registered Users (will attend):
UserA, UserB
will not attend:
UserC, UserD

I know this is a pretty old topic, but I would like this feature as well. But for the website I'm working on now, I would need an additional option to say how many persons will be attending per company that registers for the event. And to be able to list the names of the persons attending. Any chance of that being added?
