i don't know if you're trying it with a live website, but if so i would not try it. just do it offline (with Xamp) and see if you get it to work. When so you can upload the files and make adjustments in the database. You can open a topic in the Eventlist v1.02 section if you're running into problems.

A good help can be to turn on Development error output:
backend Joomla->Site->Global Configuration->Server->Error Reporting
-> it will show errors and it can point to the things that are missing.

the language things that i have to adjust, where is it to be correct?
just on the bottom of the file?

and in what do you have to change it? just a new name?

the language string can be at the bottom of the eventlist language file. It does not matter. Whatever is the text you need to change, but make sure it's between the two "".

And remember:
--> test it offline

If you don't succeed i'm willing to give you a link where you can find my altered version. It is a test version and won't be perfect but it can show where to modify things.

nope, cant get it fixed

i added al the code and stuff, and i thought i did good, double checkt everything, and then i tested it, and i can put through the admin panel the open spots at the event, and when i want to see a event i get a error

i think i'm going to give it up for today

I know that the waitinglist/capacity does involve a lot of steps so it can be confusing.
