Feature requests for JEM 2.0 - initial public release
Add view restriction option to the venues, default is public
Add view restriction option to the venues, default is public
6 years 3 weeks ago
Dear users,
I have found out that the descriptive names to all of our venues (locations) can be displayed to the public via the Advanced search of the Search component e.g. ?option=com_finder&view=search to the site url. The locations cannot be restricted to different access level -- at least it cannot be done on the administrator level. Is this intended, please? Can it be requested as new feature, please?
There is a column named "access" in jem_venues SQL table. But changing it to any access level group id does not seems to affect anything.
Kind regards
M

Thanks, I was able to reproduce this issue on all searches:
Normal should be: the search respects the user status: if a user is registered, search for all public and/or registered events and show them. Don't show events for specials.
Actual only the public events are shown even for specials (administrators/super users).
In my eyes, this is a bug, i will post it on github.
