intro text on event detail

I set the intro text in the global configuration to hide, but it is still shown on the event detail. in the event itself there is no option to hide or show the intro text
is this a bug?

sorry, I don't use this, but it seems true, intro text and readmore seem not to work in eventdetails.

Then I started to think: Does it make sense, to hide a part of description in the details view? I don't think so.
So until now these settings for event page are not used (because of nonsense.
In the modules JEM teaser and JEM banner readmore works fine.

It makes exactly the same sense as the intro text of the articles. you could have a short teaser on the overview page and then a detailed description on the event page without the teaser

For sure, you're right, but coming from eventslist with no description, going to event details, then you are just on the page with details.
But you're invited to work on it, I showed you, where it should be. And you find the examples in the default.php of the JEM teaser and JEM banner modules.
I hope you'll share your results for others.
