Search: Events from JEM not found

Any progress on this issue?

JEM search works, JEM smart search not yet.
But for new Joomla!5 users there's no more search component, only smart search (finder)

That's why I asked what the status is. mckillo worked on it, but I don't see any activity for the last two weeks on github.

Hi Pinkeltje, I'm working on it, the thing is that we're not here all the time. We try to find time to resolve and address user with issues. This case is not the only one, there is another that must be attended too.
Remember that this is a community, it is not a company, we are volunteers, it depends on our free time, but we are open to volunteer developers to debug cases, if you want....

It was just curiosity. Appreciate the work you do. Unfortunately I am not a developer. I have your dev version on localhost, but just not smart enough to make necessary changes. Sorry.
