Prior to upgrading to Joomla 4, JEM 2.3.5 was uninstalled. After upgrade to Joomla 4, I installed JEM4.
When I click to 'add event' button, I got error message showing "1054 Unknown column 'places' in 'field list'".
Moreover, menu whose menu item type is simplelist is not activated.
Is it because of wrong upgrade to J4 or bug?
It depends, how you uninstalled. It seems, there were some rests in the DB, I presume, because you did not select "Cleanup DB on Uninstall" in General JEM settings. So you have to clean DB manually from all rests of JEM. You did not the right way!
