Unrequired icons

Hello, I've just installed and configured Jem everything looks OK appart from extra icons which I get on the calendar. I managed to get the 'red +' dots for adding events whist logged in, which is what I want but i also get these wierd little square boxes with what looks like F3 50 in them. It looks like icons are added in two different parts of code somewhere. Any ideas? SEE ATTACHED

I think you are on Joomla 4 which does't load automaricly fontawesome 5
EDIT: there must be a possibility to load fontawesome 5.
In my case t4 template helps to load this.

I am using Joomla 4.1.1 and Helix Ultimate template with which has an option to load fontawesome.

This is checked in the control panel. Fontawesome symbols are used on one of my other pages and thsee show correctly.

On the calendar page the red/white crosses show correctly but the others (whatever thy are) do not and are superfluous anyway Why are they duplicated as in the screen grab?

JEM 4.2 on Joomla 4.1.1 doesn't load automaticly the right fontawesome. Because JEM 4.2 is ready for Joomla 5. If your template helps you to load fontawesome 5, it's ok.
The icons are not duplicated. The icon wants to show, that there is a link.
The link on top of a day links to the create a new event on this day.

EDIT: I controlled again, If JEM 4.2 runs und Joomla 4 doesn't use fontawesome 6, so it needs icomoon too.

thanks for your help. It does't specify in the Helix Ultimate template which version of fontawesome to load it just has a checkbox 'load font awesome'.
I will endeaver to find out which version it is using.
