With long Date or Description is there a Display Issue with PageBreak.
Add in Your user.css to Your Child Template following Roule
.jem-info {
width: 90%;
}

I can't reproduce. Do you have a screenshot. More infos.

I use JEM settings>Layout of Date Column=Two lines

You talk about the EventList, view=categories
im Talk about the Event itself: Yes the Admin Setting "Two Lines" for the Date is in JEm Category List
I Talk about view=event. There the Container .jem-info is to smal to display. With 90% it works also in Mobile View perfectly...

you're right
the problem is, when you change to the whole weekday (the longest is "Donnerstag"), do you need other settings. And I use "Uhr" instead of "h" !
