JEM Basic Module in AcyMailing 8

as I just said, I'm not a dev. I don't know if the following helps you (if you don't know it). Acymailing has this help to develop an add-on for Acymailing 8.
docs.acymailing.com/developers/acymailing-developer-documentation
in github we have a post here:
github.com/jemproject/JEM-Project/issues/1680
If you don't come from Acymailing 5, then you can't reach the JEM modules!

I also contacted AcyMailing support. They wrote, among other things: "We didn't see that lots of developers are adding add-ons for AcyMailing 8. All the available add-ons that we now have and provide are those who were asked from our users and were created as a custom development (paid) option for them, but later added to all users. To be honest, you are the first person who ever asked for JEM support integration." And they also pointed to the Developer Documentation page that you referenced with the sample plugin. I looked into it, but I'm not a developer myself and this is too difficult for me.
Thank you for your post on Github. Hopefully there is someone who can develop the plugin.
Until then, I can continue to work with Acymailing 5. It will no longer be supported from the end of January, but it will continue to function, according to AcyMailing support.
Thanks again for your efforts.

Thanks, Harry!
To be honest too: I know different persons, me too, who asked Acymailing for an add-on for JEM. So they are not very hobest or they forget very quickly!
At the moment I am not in groups acymailing anymore. I know, it is/was vegy good for groups. Because of tmat, I am looking for this add-on for JEM. If L would know thatsthere is a paid add-on for JEM I would promote this but if there's no such thing, I regret!

One 'problem' is probably that JEM is a volunteer project. I suggested to Acymailing support: "It should be very nice if this plugin could be updated for Acymailing 8 (maybe in cooperation with JEM?)". The response was: "I am afraid that our developers have to focus on the features lots of users are asking for. Only in case there is a sponsored development (as it was case with the majority of other add-ons that we provide), they can also add such add-on to their task list." So, as so often in this world, money makes the difference...?
In Acymailing 8 there are addons for multiple event managers. I experimented with JEvents myself. That works well in itself, but I don't find JEvents to work as well as JEM. Additionally, the free version of JEvents is missing some items.
By the way, now that I think about it, I actually find it surprising that there is a JEMplugin for Acymailing 5. Who developed it?
Anyway, until someone steps up to develop an addon for Acymailing 8, we won't make any progress.

I wrote acyba too, you finv the answer in git.
There was once a plugin from acyba for JEM 1.1. Then someone of JEM adapted it for JEM 2. mkillo who made a lot for adapting
EM to J4+ adapted it for Joomla 4. But he is notdusing acymailing. So I can underctand that hedis not using lots of energy for something foreign which works quite otherwise.

Yes, I can understand that too.
The annoying thing is that Acymailing 8 is quite different from 5. Hopefully someone will come along who has enough developer skills to create a working addon with the Acymailing example plugin.
Thank you very much again.
