You know for me it's just something that's just something that leads to additional code in the pages. also default assets (access.xml) checking, routing, etc is handled different due to it. Etc...

Buy you know it doesn't have to be changed as it seems to be helpfull for others. But as I'm personally not a big fan of it I did not include it in my custom joomla 4 version and did strip it.

Form me the possibility ot assign more than one category to an event is crucial.
I need it to represent and display a more complex event structure. For example I have a site, where there are up to 5 categories assigned to each event (subject area, subcategory of subject area, suitable age, teamleader1, teamleader2) and I need all of them for category views or in modules …

As a non programmer I cannot estimate the complexity this induces – so I can just say thank you for your work. I highly appreciate it.
