Not work on joomla 3.6.4

The thing is that something in the core of Joomla was changed and it's now trowing errors when something is not right with the data retrieved by JSON.

It's difficult to find an error with vague error descriptions but I agree to what you think. Seems to be this Joomla core change.

Did not have this issue right now, and I am not sure yet how to solve it in an intelligent way. Maybe Joomla itself takes care of it?
