Buttons ‘edit’ and ‘copy’ do not appear
5 years 8 months ago - 5 years 8 months ago
At one of my sites for some users I want to offer the possibility to add and edit event items via the frontend of the site. At a local testsite (bijbelkoran) I managed to do so. But at the local site of the franciscus-parish (which is the site to implantate this possibility) it does not work properly. The buttons ‘edit’ and ‘copy’ do not appear (see printscreen 3). The printscreens (2 and 4) of the view ‘Events’ of both website are at the relevant lines (from line 24) exactly the same.
Who has the right answer for me to solve this?

Are you always on the same joomla and JEM 2.2.3? Your JEM settings?
If you want this only for some users, are they in a JEM group, which has these rights?
I can' reproduce this problem, in my case all works well!

For both (local) websites I use Joomla 3.4.9 and JEM 2.2.3. But the problem is not the rights for the users. That works perfect.
In the first screen with Bijbel en Koran you see six buttons, including ‘edit’ and ‘copy’ event. In the third screen with Voorbereiding Palmpaasviering there are only four buttons, without ‘edit’ and ‘copy’ event. That’s what I don’t understand, because the default.php files for the event-pages are the same, as can be seen in screen 2 and 4.
I checked JEM for both sites, and the settings are the same.
