Relating to your "small" problem. I think there is a Javascript / jQuery problem in you webpage.
Normally (as you show in the first picture), jQuery would transform the html formatted title to the tooltip. But we see the blank html in the title, so I think jQuery dosn't working.
Please take a look in your browser's debugging console.

Probably, your "cannot save"-problem raltes to the jQuery problem.

Problem solved.
There was a problem with another module which was not compatible with MooTools, a javascipt library.

Perhaps it would be helpful to say which module! If others will get the same problem!

It was a module from EventGallery which shows random picture of an selected event.
The author himself helped me detecting the problem and he will fix it with the next update.

Is MooTools used by JEM?

The mod_jem_cal and the old mod_jem_calajax include JHtml::_('behavior.tooltip'); and JHtml::_('behavior.framework');.

Do you use mod_jem_cal or mod_jem_calajax on your page?
