hi, this is known. It's about you to use a language override for the special meaning you want give this custom field as short as possible!

or you could do it with css "white-space: nowrap;" …

sorry but I am only user not expert. So, of course I can try to use ether the one or the other solutions, but therefore I need a little bit more in detail what to do.

I thought the usual Veranstaltungsfeld 1 should be okay anyway because it is from the standard German language pack. But where can I change it? I think another label would be fitting better anyway.

About the CSS statement: Where should I place this?

A hint for all who aren't experts: Please use the help!
Please use the help in administration: there's a help how to make language overrides. And hopefully you will learn some interesting new things... and step by step you will be an expert.
For your site only you can search in the language files (if you are expert and knows where they are ) and exchange then with what you want, but better short than using 2 or more lines!
