@Jojo: Ok, seems onContentPrepare is not triggered as often as I feared (especially if triggered on Edit would be catastrophical... - but it isn't :aufatmender Smiley: )
So as alternative we can delete the "$allowed_contexts = ..." line (59) and change the "if" line below to Then you can use it with groupjive and maybe someone else love events within an com_jem.event - so why not...

Interesting plugin. Haven't tried it yet, but I can imagine this could be extend to show a list of events by venue or even by user.

This is already possible: {listevents venueid=n} and n are the id numbers of the venues you want to display, e.g. {listevents venueid=7,12,33}

perhaps you just have seen: Listevents is now an integrated Plugin in JEM 2.2.2. His name changed for some reasons. It's good, so you can try it beneath the old one. Thanks a lot for your idea and development!
