Geocoding latitude/longitude of a venue

Geocoding latitude/longitude of a venue

In previous versions the latitude and longitude where automatically geocoded based on the address of the venue. It seems that this doesn't work anymore and that I manually have to enter the latitude and longitude of a location. This is an extra process where I have to look up the geographical location and copy/paste the coordinates. Is also subject to errors.
Am I overlooking something or has this feature been stripped?

Because I am working at the moment with a lot of venues, I can say, you seem to have an error.
In my case, when I choose bring all from the map to JEM, I get exactly the coordinates.

Then something must be wrong. When I edit a venue or create a new one (via the admin), the lat/long are set to 0.00000 if I don't enter the coordinates myself.
In the General settings I've set the Choose maps service to Show Google Maps I don't see any other setting.

I changed it to the Google maps api key, but that doesn't help.
At what point does the geocoding take place? Is it directly after entering the address of the venue or on save?

I tried in the backend:
I enter a part of the address in JEM, then I click on geodata and choose map.
Then I choose the button take from JEM
The map is showing with the right place and in the googe address part the right coordinates are showing
(I can correct then mit the mouse)
I choose "übernehmen"(take over?).
Now the coordinates are in JEM address to. Then I save.
