Dear all,
I find a Chinese language pack which is for Taiwan, "zh-TW.JEM-languagepack_v2.2.0.zip"
but...
How can I change it to the language pack for Hong Kong?
Thanks for any kind of help?

Hi, welcome on our forum. Normally you can use
www.transifex.com
.
Search for JEM. It's ernst67 who is responsible for such language projects.

Hi ernst67!
I will expect to change locale name and all corresponding settings only
-> I will NOT change any translation unless I see such an need to do so.
So simply let me know what settings do I need to change.
and how to install the HK language pack
Thanks for any kind of help!

Hi again!
I'm sorry, but you need to explain a bit more...:
Would you consider zh-HK a variety of zh-TW? Or is it a significant difference?
If it's a variety, with ony a few words difference, then you can install zh-TW and use language overrides (just search in the forum how to do this).
If it's a really different language, then I can create the language for you in Transifex, and you can do the translating there.
If there are many similarities with zh-TW, I can first clone that language pack, so you only need to change the items that need to be changed.
Sorry, I'm fairly up to standards with the languages spoken in Europe, but like you may notice.. not so much with the Asian ones...

Hi Ernst,
as far as I understoud the only problem (yet) is the need of a language pack installed as "zh-HK" - which may have unmodified translations.
Do you remember our discussion about de-DE vs.de-AT, de-CH etc? I think it's the same problem. If the site or user selects zh-HK then translations named zh-TW will be ignored and en-GB is used instead.
@hhtmp88: To solve this please extract all files from the zip, rename all files and folders by changing "zh-TW" to "zh-HK", and than edit the xml file where you also must replace all "zh-TW" by "zh-HK" including <name> and <tag> lines. Finally put them all into a new zip. This you can install using Joomla Extension Manager - same way you installed JEM package.
