Hyperlink in description in module is stripped away

hey there!

when i try to link to a partner-page in description of an event the html-code for hyperlinks (a href ...) is deleted in the frontend!? where to fix it - have no idea!

Can you specify more what you are doing.
I tried to reproduce your issue, but when I insert a link in the eventdescription, I get a working link. I have JCE in use.

I try to hyperlink in the description field ... i also use JCE ... the hyperlink is still there but something at the frontende/display is deleting the <a> tag!??

I don't understand what you want to do. Please specify more step by step. Is it in backend or frontend

I try in frontend. I open: create new event, I enter the default things like title and categoy, and choose a date.
I go to description choose in JCE the insert/edit links and fill it with the wanted url. then save and try.
works best!

you can see the hyperlink in the description which is not working ... there are no more <a> tags and no more href attribute!

in the backend i use jce for editing the description ... everithing is fine there!

but you can see what happens in the frontent ... see enclosed.

You are talking about the Module jem_banner.
If you go to the event detail page, there's no problem!

In the modules there's a safety rule, which takes away the link. The module should link to the event detail page and not to an other site! If you want to change this individually, you have to look into the modules programming.
