You must have access via ftp!
copy the 3 php-files in component/com_jem/views/event/tmpl/ to template/gantry5[or similar/html/event/
If this folder doesn't exist, create it.
Try changes only on theses files in the template.
If there are problems, you can delete these override files, and all is like at the start.
