Modifying calendar.js for smoother hiding action

would say adding some kind of effect for displaying/hiding should be possible but not sure how to do it with Mootools.

Did try it out with Jquery (Joomla3) and seems to be working ok
there we have some effects that can be added (fadeIn, SlideDown,SlideUp, etc...) so think it's also possible that Mootools has some of those effects

Well I was thinking to do it with Mootools because that is what is used already. I'll spend the weekend looking into this. Thanks a lot for the continuous support!

the calendar.js is using jquery code in JEM3 but you're right JEM2 is using Mootools code
