icons, for use in front of eventtitle (lists)

Maybe you meant to allow authors to choose an icon from a pre-defined list, not allowing upload (like here the topic icons)?
Thinking about useful icons I fastly drift to such corresponding to categories. So another idea could be to let admin configure to show category icons instead of their names in category column?

was indeed also thinking of adding a list of icons that people can select for the category.

and about the icons it's something like the attached images.

- people can select in the back an icon and if a icon should be displayed
- the files are being retrieved from media/com_jem/images/categoryicons and there is even a preview
- the selected icon will only be displayed in the table files if an event is attached to only 1 category
in the attached images you'll see that, but in my personal version it's singlecat so am not having a problem with it.
