Not sure if the title is correct but well, what i meant is that I'll upload an adjusted file in here for the Event(s)-view + settingsview for J3+.

This as a result of the post in the topic "Joomla 3 not supported"

People can try to adjust the rest of the component themselfs, if they can't wait till the release. People do need to know something about PHP. As I don't like to make tutorials at this point the specific steps won't be described. perhaps someone will volunteer for it.

Ofcourse it can lead to many different (unsupported)versions, but w'll see. and you have to know that with an update of JEM the files will be overwritten.

As a test i've taken the event(s) views + settings-view of the backend and did alter them a bit. Be aware that it are screenshots but the pages will be uploaded next week. It won't be perfect but it will give you an idea.

it says 07-09 but actually changed it today :)

As you're running in J3, you will probably find several issues.

One of them is the attachments, as the code used within J2.5+ can't be used within J3 due to a different Mootools things have to change.

Luckily for you the attachment-script has been altered so it won't be an issue anymore.

But if you run into problems you may always ask a question here in the forum, but it ain't no guarantee that you will get an answer. and if you know something about Github you can post issues over there.

attachment you will find a zip containing:
- admin views (event/events/settings)
- model/forms (event/settings)

Be aware it's not plug & play! You should test it offline with WAMP and make adjustements accordingly (with Eclipse PDT). And yep i know the files are not perfect and are messy ;)

Maybe i'll cleanup/alter it more but for now you can use it as a preview and try to adjust things yourself.

it can be that the css of the backend.css is messing this up, so in such a case you disable the file within view.html.php and see if that's make a difference and if so track/alter the wrong css code.

It's better not to use the Accordion/sliders (event-view) but did add them so you can see how that looks.

Long labels will mess with the template, so if you've long labels try to make them shorter.

oh yep, you can ofcourse always take a look at Joomla itself to see how they are doing it. The components: com_banners, com_weblinks, com_content can be very usefull to look at.

//
feedback would be nice. and if you've managed to make adjustements or improvements let it know so the community can benefit from it.

Thumbs up for your efforts, but I think the code just gets lost here.

Why don't you make a J3 branch and post it @github. So it can be reused later and finally merged when time comes.

Yes, I know, you don't like the branches, but well I just mention it ;)

in fact it's a good idea and am planning to do so. You're right using the branches is getting used to (for me). Not sure how to seperate the files master from the branch but will find out.
