Booking all Events in a Serie

ONE Suggestion for JEM4.xx

Sometimes an event is also a training course which takes place weekly, for example. Well, when a user reserves a seat, they mean maybe, or more likely, for all of the events in this series.

Currently, the user would then have to reserve each appointment individually. This is very cumbersome and the user will not understand it. He just wants to register for a course or event. So more likely for each of the dates.

My suggestion for improvement: The registration for an event should be improved, possibly even with its own views and functions that can easily record these circumstances. If an event is a series, a) the admin should be able to set it as a course with multiple dates and the user should be able to register for one date or the whole course

Thank you for pointing out such a lot of issues.
Event series are by design (as of now) only a way to create a lot of similar events. After the creation these are not connected anymore.
For the same reason you cannot edit all events of such a creation at once.
It might be a future enhancement to change that behaviour, but probably not in the near future.
